Amenities: Magic Pines has 95 sites and offers both back-in and pull-through big rig friendly spaces with full hook-ups and 30A as well a beautiful, grassygrassy area with tent sites. They have laundry and shower facilities, a nice pool and a small camp store. Picnic tables are provided and campfires are allowed.

DirectionsFrom I-87 Northbound: Take Exit # 32 to US Rte. 9 and go north on US 9 for 3 miles. Campground is on the right.

Enjoy the peace and quiet under the tall pines in this Adirondack campground. A somewhat secluded, rustic campground. located a mere 5 miles from the Adirondack Northway - main North/South route from Montreal to New York City and beyond. Likable owners, Janet and Gordon, as well as many friendly Seasonals made us feel welcome.



Their rates are very fair and we enjoy spending a Summer Season with them. There are many hiking trails nearby, trout fishing streams and the campground is located about 45 minutes from the Olympic City of Lake Placid in one direction and about the same distance to Burlington and Vermont across Lake Champlain by ferry in another direction. Ausable Chasm is 25 minutes away. Shelburne Museum and Fort Ticonderoga are both only an hour away through some of the most scenic roadways in  the Northeast..


Magic Pines Family Campground makes a great Summer "homebase" for us
from which to explore all that the Adirondack Mountains and the
Green Mountains of Vermont have to offer.
