If you want great fishing, tubing, swimming, and hiking, with canoeing, biking, rock climbing nearby, kayaking, camping, and more, in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, this is your place! Bring your own tube and life jacket and tubing is free! The gently flowing, crystal clear, Schroon River flows right past this campground, with its half mile of shoreline. All campsites are shaded by tall, 100 year old pine trees. Some of the best hiking in the North East is just a short drive away! Schroon Lake Village has a free public boat launch and a beautiful free public beach, only 4 miles away. Word of Life only 4 miles away. Lake George Village 35-40 minutes away. Stone Caverns 20 minutes away. Lake Placid around 1 hour away. Fort Ticonderoga 40 minutes away.

This campground has a limited number of pull-throughs, so be sure to call in advance. All sites are FHU, including free cable TV, and free wifi. It has a small store, stocked with essentials (and the largest supply of candy around), and laundry facility. The friendly owners have weekend activities all Season long. It is a very quiet retreat during the week days.

Directions:  Take exit 28, from the I-87, (Adirondack Northway). Go east on State Route 74 for 1 mile. Turn left on River Road and continue bearing left approximately 1 mile.
